Dubai, United Arab Emirates, November 24, 2021: DC Aviation Al-Futtaim has announced it has strengthened its management team with the appointment of Stephen McAteer as Director of Maintenance and Post Holder – Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation (CAMO) and Christopher Rosewarne as Head of Maintenance and Post Holder – CAR 145.

Stephen McAteer brings with him over 30 years’ experience in aircraft maintenance and CAMO including military, regional airlines and for the past 12 years corporate jet operations. He has 12 years’ experience at Director and Post Holder level and currently is in his third Corporate Jet VIP operator post. He brings with him a wealth of experience and diversified skillset with safety, compliance, efficiency, transparency and attention to detail to ensure business and customer satisfaction at all times.

Chris Rosewarne has nearly 40 years’ experience in aircraft maintenance and CAMO including military, commercial and Corporate Jet operations. Prior joining DCAF Chris has been involved in a number of different roles with Execujet Middle East. His role at DCAF will be to focus on enhancing customer relationships, providing excellent service levels and adding value to customers.

DCAF over the next six months will increase its maintenance offerings to customers with 30-month inspections on the Global Express and 24-month inspections on CL604/605/650 aircraft types. Currently, the company supports the Dassault Falcon 7X, Falcon 900EX Easy and ad-hoc support for the A320

In addition to its CAR 145 approvals, DCAF can also support operators from a host of regions including Cayman Island and Bermuda. The company is also in the process of obtaining approvals for aircraft registered in Aruba.

DCAF will also be making significant investments to increase component support of wheels and batteries and sheet metal repair requirements to support its customers.

Customers can look forward to receiving a diverse range of maintenance support from spare parts supply, procurement and storage to maintenance and airworthiness certification.

DCAF’s exclusive offering includes two state-of-the-art hangars measuring 5,700sqm and 7,500sqm, which has enough space to accommodate four ACJ or BBJ type aircraft of the heavy business jet category as well as two ultra-long-range business jets such as the Falcon 7X, Bombardier Global Express or Gulfstream G550.
